Dubai is a beautiful place in the East, and millions of people have looked at its beauties and wonders since its been developed so extensively commercially in the last 50 years. It used to be just a little fishing village. A lot has changed in five decades. They’ve become home to some of the most beautiful buildings in the world. They’re so flush with wealth, that they’ve made a shopping holiday. Their architectural and commercial wonders are also indicative of a thriving nightlife, and there are people who come from all over the world to party there. So, what is the legal drinking age there?
The legal drinking age in Dubai is 21. In some nightclubs, however, you have to be 25 years of old or older. The reason for that is to keep more riffraff out of the club, and have a more mature audience. It doesn’t really have anything to do with the legal drinking age of 21. Some of these clubs might charge you a lot more if you’re 21, and they’ll still let you in. In Dubai, cash is the king. Alcohol-related offenses are taken extremely seriously here, so you don’t want to get into any trouble or problems typical of binge drinking, especially youth binge drinking. It’s inadvisable to go there when you’re young and just get plastered, because there are serious consequences for crimes related to alcohol. These are more likely to happen when you’re extremely drunk.
It’s very inadvisable to try to drink there if you’re under 21 because the crimes are taken very seriously there. They’re taken very seriously in most Muslim countries too. You’ll be asked to leave the bar, and you might be asked to leave the country if you break a law that’s serious enough. Why risk it? Just go there when you have enough money and you’re the right age, and you’ll have no problems.
There are also some amazing restaurants there that have high-end, premium, top-shelf liquor, and you just don’t want to go there without the money to really enjoy it. You won’t enjoy yourself to the max, and that’s a problem if you’re going there to have a good time. You don’t want to be excluded from the best that Dubai has to offer. The experiences that you can have there are limited by not being able to drink alcohol. Many of the activities there are indoors, and you won’t be able to drink at the best establishments if you’re not the right age. Drinking there makes the Dubai experience so much more enjoyable because the liquor, bartenders, bars, and restaurants are some of the best in the world. If you can’t experience that side of Dubai while you’re there, then why go there at all?
Dubai is one of the most beautiful places in the world, and if you don’t want to visit the best establishments there, and you can just buy a few appetizers or drinks there so you don’t go broke, then don’t go at all. You’ll be prohibited from the best establishments if you’re not 21 or over. Don’t go there unless you’re 21 or over.
