Drinking age in Poland

The legal drinking age is different for every country. Sometimes, the drinking age revolves around 25, and other times the drinking age is around 16 or so. All countries have their own drinking ages that they believe is best for the people who live there, and some countries are far more liberal and lenient toward those who are 16 and 18. In America, however, the legal age to purchase and publicly possess alcohol is 21. It didn’t used to be that way, however. Before a federal law that stipulated that the legal public possession and purchase age be 21 in America, all the states set their own drinking ages, and many times it was 18. In most European countries, the legal drinking age is 18. It’s only in America where the legal drinking age is 21 years of age or older, and a bunch of other Middle Eastern and African countries. However, it’s not really the drinking age as much, as the public purchase and possession age. Most countries have more sensible drinking ages than the United States, but there was a rash of drunk driving accidents in the country, and they vowed to end those, that is the government, by proposing laws that stopped people who were younger and more immature drivers from drinking and getting behind the wheel. Not all countries have those kinds of issues though. Most countries have historically had 18-year-old drinking ages, and that’s the way it’s been for years. However, some countries, like in the Middle East, have religious proscriptions against alcohol.

The drinking age in Poland is 18. The law explicitly states that people who buy alcohol have to be at least 18 years old, and they have to show an ID to prove. They only have to do that if they look like they might not be 18 years of age or older. The minimum age to consume alcohol in the country is 18. Polish youth can enjoy alcohol when they graduate, and tourists can go there and enjoy it too. It’s a wonderful thing to be able to go and drink on your initial international vacation around the globe.

Poland is a country in central Europe, and it’s a major force in the global tourism industry, and it’s experienced a huge influx of visitors since it’s been admitted into the European Union. Interestingly, they’ve decriminalized many of their drugs. Their drinking age, however, is pretty standard at 18 years old. It’s not decriminalized for people. It’s also not a hugely young age. Tourism contributes a large portion to the country’s economy, and it makes up a big portion of the service market in the country too. Krakow is one of the best destinations to visit, and it’s experiencing a renaissance of sorts. Some of the country’s main tourism offerings including sightseeing, climbing, mountain hiking, business trips, and agrotourism as well. There are a lot of spots for recreation and natural beauty too.
